You’ll be introduced to your chauffeur/guide shore side. He’ll escort you to your rugged yet plush Hummer H2®, your vantage point for the next four or eight hours to experience Juneau and its surrounds on your own terms, and on your own schedule. You’ll be briefed on a variety of tour options that are available for you. Do as much, or as little, as you like. Select from active experiences or the more sedate. Mix and match. It’s entirely your choice. Have a special interest like photography or hiking? No problem. Your chauffeur/guide can help you create a tour experience that is entirely of your own creation.

Sightseeing options might include Mendenhall Glacier, downtown Juneau, the Governor’s Mansion, University of Alaska-Southeast, The Shrine of St. Therese (patron saint of Alaska), the Alaska State Museum or a guided nature hike. (Nominal fees apply for entrance to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitors Center and Alaska State Museum).

In addition to being your driver and acting as your tour escort, your chauffeur/guide is at your beck and call. Think of him as your personal concierge. Plan to dine ashore this evening and want suggestions and a reservation? No problem. Need to stop by a pharmacy to pick up some personal items? Consider it done. Have a craving for an ice cream cone?
